Gregory Duncan profile pic copyGregory Duncan’s interest in high-performance building began while working on a deep-energy retrofit of an office building in Hamburg, Germany in 1996. He returned to the United States to obtain a Master of Architecture degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Working in New York and New Jersey since 2000, Mr. Duncan has acquired a significant amount of experience with building construction, particularly in the mid-rise multifamily, townhouse retrofit, and small commercial areas. Complementing his practical experience, Mr. Duncan works to advance the theory of green design and building science. He is a Registered Architect in New York and New Jersey, a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Passive House Designer, and a Vice President of New York Passive House.

Duncan Architect PLLC is a New York based internationally certified architecture and consulting firm. We design new construction and retrofits focusing on comfort, health, and energy efficiency.

Duncan Architect PLLC was the Passive House consultant for the first certified Passive House retrofit in Connecticut.  This project is featured in the book The Greenest Home: Superinsulated and Passive House Design.
